The first Hippie is said to have been a drop-out Jewish carpenter, named Jesus ("The Nazz") .
He rebuked the state approved religious leaders of his time and instructed his disciples to sell what they had,give to the poor and follow him,preaching and teaching the good news of the Kingdom of Heaven.
His disciples are a priesthood of believers (male and female) filled with the Holy Ghost (Spirit of Truth).
It is not a popular message with the rich and powerful or those that want to be.
